Silverton population unchanged from 2011

The mayor of Silverton is bit surprised their population has remained static.

The village had 195 people on the 2011 census and 195 people on the 2016 census.

Jason Clarke says it’s not necessarily the same people.

But Clarke says he’d welcome more residents.

Silverton has the second-smallest population among BC municipalities.
