Granite Pointe names new GM

Nelson’s Granite Pointe Golf Course has named a new general manager.

He’s David Belling and he comes here from Prince Rupert where he held the same role.

Granite Pointe president Barry Auliffe says he was picked from more than two dozen applications.

Belling starts Feb. 27.

The board has been taking a hands-on role in the course’s management for the last year and a bit.

Auliffe says they’re grateful for pro Denny McArthur’s help during that time.
