Nelson seeks junior curlers

The Nelson Curling Centre is happy with the turnout at last weekend’s junior bonspiel.

Thirty-nine kids participated from Rossland, Trail, and Castlegar as well as Nelson.

Youth programs director Tracey Mozel says they’re always looking for new players.

Mozel says they’d like to form a boys team as well.

The Hayley Thatcher rink of Rossland won the junior division over the weekend.

The Will Watt rink of Castlegar took the intermediate division.
