A new exhibit has opened at Touchstones Nelson celebrating the work of photographer George A. Meeres.
Curator Rod Taylor says Meeres worked in Nelson from 1924 to 1936 before moving to Vernon.
But in that time he created a significant pictorial legacy.
Taylor says the work is drawn both from the Touchstones archives and from private collections.
The exhibit is on until May 22.
