Nelson’s top cop is echoing the concerns of Canada’s association of police chiefs regarding marijuana legalization.
With the feds introducing legislation allowing four home-grown plants, Paul Burkart is asking who will control that.
Burkart adds the home grow also creates concerns about access by children as well as neighborhood fire and public health risks.
He says the feds have had several goes at pot regulation over the years but without too much success.
