It’s all about the kids.
So says Trail Track and Field Club Head Coach Dan Horan on why local Parent Advisory Committees in School District 20 have approached him to help run the annual meet that was cancelled due to the teachers’ strike.
Horan says this is a very big event for students in the area.

Horan says Thursday’s meet at Haley Park is sanctioned by BC Athletics which is how the insurance is covered.
He explains 170 students from the District have signed up so far – the majority coming from Glenmerry Elementary.
