A Selkirk College student who is transitioning her studies to UBC will be doing so with a hefty scholarship.
Stephanie kirk has received an $80,000 scholarship through the UBC Centennial Leaders award.
She praises the college for helping her quickly understand the classroom setting.
The award is given to students who display academic excellence and contribute to their community.
