Nelson still has a lot of room to issue business licenses to short-term rentals.
So far 25 have been approved and another 16 have applied but the city is prepared to grant up to 150.
Development services manager Pam Mierau says they’re starting to take enforcement against unlicensed rentals.
She says they’re working with a company they’ve hired to identify other unlicensed rentals.
She encourages them get in touch with city hall.
