Minor baseball unhappy with Lions Park solution

The Nelson Baseball Association isn’t thrilled with the city’s plan to accommodate the rest of their season.

Games originally scheduled for Lions Park will be shifted to Queen Elizabeth Park and the lakeside fields.

But president Russell Stocks says that can’t be the long-term solution.

The issue came up when minor baseball tried to legitimize the 200 hours they’ve been using each year at Lions Park.

Their agreement only allows 100 hours.
