The Slocan Valley Heritage Trail Society and arts council are teaming up to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday.
Trail society director Craig Lawrence says they received grant funding to make improvements on the trail last year.
The funds included a stipulation they host an event to mark Canada’s milestone.
The Random Acts of Creativity event goes June 25 with performances and displays happening at five of the trail’s hubs from Slocan to Crescent Valley.
