It’s becoming even harder to find an affordable place to live in Nelson.
That according to the ninth annual report card on homelessness released this week.
Co-ordinator Ann Harvey says the vacancy rate remains below one per cent but rents have gone way up.
She says they also found nelson is much more expensive than neighbouring towns.
Harvey says this year’s report also takes a close look at mental health and substance use issues.
