Nelson credit union loses court ruling

The Nelson and District Credit Union has lost a court ruling in an ongoing dispute over a software conversion.

The credit union was seeking an order that a vendor produce documents and answer certain questions, but a judge dismissed the application.

At issue is a $730,000 installation fee. The credit union says it didn’t notice the fee was included before signing the agreement and it says the fee was contrary to a prior arrangement.

The credit union declined comment this week.

The full ruling can be found here: http://www.courts.gov.bc.ca/jdb-txt/sc/17/11/2017BCSC1139.htm
