Fewer seniors in Nelson have bought parking passes this year.
City chief financial officer Colin McClure says about 280 passes have been sold whereas before it was 580 to 600.
He was budgeting for about 500 this year with the increased price.
On the flip side parking meter revenue was up $25,000 in the second quarter.
