Money from the sale of the Trail Airport won’t go toward building the long-awaited Skate Park.
The City asked the Regional District to consider investing at least part of the $1.28 million in the project.
But Councillor Robert Cacchioni says they’ve since been told it can’t be done.
Cacchioni says they’ll look at other ideas like diverting organic waste from the landfill.
The City bought the Airport from the Regional District in January.
