The City of Nelson needs to do a better job of educating the business community about the power of broadband.
So says Mayor John Dooley after highlights of a recent Nelson Economic Development Meeting left the perception the Queen City might not be offering the same incentives as neighboring communities.
But while the three cities have all spent taxpayer dollars on a fiber optic backbone each is going about delivery differently.
Dooley says the City should be doing a better job of showing local business how it can work for them.
Workshops are planned in the near future.
