A Fortis BC line was not damaged in Wednesday’s wildfire near Beasley Bluffs.
Fortis spokesman Trevor Wales says power was cut to Nelson and surrounding communities as a precaution
The power went out around 3:30 pm.
The fire was contained shortly before power was restored.
