The Regional District of Central Kootenay has completed a new parking lot at the Crescent Valley beach.
Project manager Jeff Phillips says it should alleviate some of the congestion in the area.
The new lot adds 45 spots plus a picnic shelter and washrooms.
A trail network and signage is still being developed.
