Castlegar speeding concerns raised again

Castlegar City Council is warning residents to keep an eye out for speeders and is urging drivers to slow down.

City Hall has received numerous complaints this year about cars racing through residential areas.

Councillor Sue Heaton Sherstobitoff says you can write down the license plate … but be careful.

The latest complaint was made on 6th Ave behind the complex and Sherstobitoff says RCMP have been informed.

In January, Council asked police to increase their presence on 9th and 10th Avenues between 24th and 26th Streets in the south end of the city due to speeding.
