A local politician is now more comfortable with efforts being made to battle the 3,100-hectare Harrop Creek wildfire.
Ramona Faust, the regional district director for Harrop and Procter, wondered about the tactics being used.
But she was satisfied with answers provided at a public meeting this week.
The short answer is that fighting it from the air wouldn’t have been effective given the terrain and weather.
About 500 properties have been on evacuation alert for close to a week.
