Far fewer bear complaints have been reported in Nelson this year compared to last.
Wildsafe BC co-ordinator Dave White has a theory to explain that.
By this time last year 200 bear complaints had been received while this year it’s been less than half of that.
But it’s still higher than in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
