Nelson’s mayor will bring up the lack of a cardlock fuel station in the area with the Regional District of Central Kootenay.
This week city council denied an application to put one on Government Road in Railtown.
But Deb Kozak says such a service is needed in the area.
The proponent’s application included a petition with more than 160 names on it.
But council decided a cardlock doesn’t fit with Railtown redevelopment plans.
