The Harrop Creek wildfire has been quiet the last few days thanks in part to some rain.
But Southeast Fire Centre information officer Karlie Shaughnessy says it will likely be a lot more visible now.
An evacuation alert remains in place for close to 500 properties.
The 3,100 hectare fire is 10 per cent contained on the north side and is 4.5 kilometers from Harrop and Procter.
