You’ll be able to see the design of a new housing development in Nelson next week.
The Nelson CARES Society is holding an open house on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the Best Western Baker Street Inn from 4 until 7 p.m.
Executive director Jenny Robinson says it’s about the Lakeside Place development across from the Dairy Queen.
The four-storey building is expected to have a mix of one and two bedroom apartment, and 47 in all.

It will be geared toward seniors and people with disabilities.
BC Housing announced last year that it would chip in more than $6 million toward the project.
