Nominations sought for Nelson heritage award

The call has gone out for nominations for Nelson’s annual heritage award.

Touchstones Nelson executive director and heritage working group chair Astrid Heyerdahl says it’s not just about buildings.

Nominations are due Oct. 25 with the winner to be announced in December.

It’s the award’s third year. Past recipients were Cartolina Cards and the Nelson Chamber of Commerce.

It comes with a $1,000 prize.
