A second candidate wants to be Mayor of Trail

The latest candidate for the Mayor of Trail has wanted to throw his hat in the ring for some time now.Former United Steel Workers local 480 President Doug Jones is the second person to announce their intentions to take over for Dieter Bogs who will not seek re-election.Jones says he was born and raised in the Silver City and has seen it go through  a lot of different phases.

Jones admits he needs to get out more before November and find out what Trail residents really want over the next four years.

Former Teck GM Mike Martin is also running for mayor.
