The Southeast Fire Centre has lifted its ban on Category 2 and 3 open fires.
The risk for wildfires in our region has decreased.
Information officer Karlie Shaughnessy says if you conduct a category 3 burn you must obtain a registration number.
Remember to ensure that enough people, water and tools are on hand to control any fires.
You’re also reminded to not burn in windy conditions.
