An open house is planned next month on finding a new boat launch for the Blewett or Taghum area.
Regional District of Central Kootenay parks planner Mark Crowe says they need input from local boaters.
There hasn’t been a boat launch on that stretch of the Kootenay River since Teck decommissioned one in 2015.
The meeting is Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Blewett school.
