Parking, crosswalk up for discussion in Ainsworth

There’s a public meeting Tuesday in Ainsworth to talk about parking congestion and the possible addition of a crosswalk.

Regional district director Aimee Watson says Ministry of Transportation staff will be on hand.

Watson says parking sometimes overflows onto Highway 31.

The meeting is partly related to the hot spring resort’s request to reduce parking requirements for staff housing.

The meeting is at the community hall from 3 until 4 p.m.

The crosswalk is proposed for between the hall and the resort.
