Stetski protests federal pension changes

Kootenay-Columbia MP Wayne Stetski is taking the federal government to task over pension reform.

He says Bill C-27 would let federally regulated businesses convert defined benefit plans to target benefit plans.

Stetski told the House of Commons that will shift the financial risk from employers to workers.

Stetski says the changes are a serious threat to the retirement security of Canadians.

Stetski says there’s already been an outcry in his riding and across Canada.

He promises to continue to fight it.
