Nelson or Creston resident hits jackpot over holidays

A Nelson or Creston resident has purchased a winning lottery ticket.

One lucky person won the $1 million guaranteed Lotto 6/49 prize.

They’re one of five winners in BC.

Another $1 million Lotto Max ticket was purchased in Vernon, $219,000 tickets were bought in Kelowna and Vancouver and a $90,000 ticket was purchased in Port Alberni.

The draw was December 22nd, none of the winners have come forward yet.
