New therapeutic group for women starting this month

Nelson Community Services are beginning their 2018 therapeutic groups.

Women’s Healing Journey is targeted towards self-identified women who have been affected by relational trauma or abuse.

Group facilitator Jessica Cole says the group is about creating support.

She says they will also look at stress management techniques.

Art therapy will also be a large component of the group.

Sessions run once a week for eight weeks – there are 10 spots available.
