In BCIHL action in Castlegar over the weekend the Selkirk Saints had trouble shaking off their rink-rust after a long holiday break.
Friday they fell 4-3 to the Trinity Western University Spartans.
Saturday they took the Spartans to overtime but wound up losing 3-2.
Saints forward Grant Iles had a goal and assist in Saturday’s loss.
