The Nelson Waldorf School Childcare Centre has received funds to replace their roof.
The centre was granted $50,000 from the Columbia Basin Trust Childcare Capital Grants program.
Trustee Dorita Van Vugt says they’re still fundraising to cover the rest of the cost.
But she says construction will go ahead with or without the extra funds.
She says they’ve also applied for an Osprey Foundation Grant.
The current roof on the childcare centre needed to be replaced because of age.
