Leafs lose two vs Nitehawks, beat Grand Forks

In the KIJHL yesterday in Fruitvale the Beaver Valley Nitehawks beat the Nelson Leafs 4-3.

This was a make up game for one that was called off December 29 due to a power outage.

Saturday the Leafs beat the Grand Forks Border Bruins in Nelson 4-1, the Hawks bashed the Spokane Braves 7-2 at home and in Castlegar the Rebels skated to a 5-3 win over the Fernie Ghostriders.

Friday the Rebels beat the Border Bruins on the road 6-2 while the Nitehawks scored a 4-1 win in Nelson.
