Interior Health CEO Announces Retirement

Interior Health is seeking a new CEO.

Chris Mazurkewich has held the position since October 2015 and announced his retirement this week.

Board chair Doug Cochrane is happy Mazurkewich will be staying with IH until the fall as they find a replacement.

Cochrane says Mazurkewich has many strengths he brought to the position.

Highlights from his career include renewing letters of understanding with each of the seven First Nations in IH, investing in mental health and substance use services and opening 199 residential care beds.
