Redevelopment plans in the works for 479 Baker Street

Plans are in the works for a building in Nelson that’s sat empty since a fire in 2010.

Mayor Deb Kozak says she’s happy to see renovation plans moving forward for 479 Baker Street.

Kozak says two apartment units will be above the commercial space.

Council did approve stratification; it’s the first one of its kind on Baker Street.
