Contest aims to attract young professionals to Kaslo

The BC Rural Centre launched a new contest trying to find people who are sick of living in big cities and lure them to Kaslo.

Communications Director, Randy Mores, says Kalso has great high speed internet which can attract young professionals.

To enter Escape the City, contestants have to submit a two minute video on why they want to move to Kalso and what they would offer the community.

The winner will be announced in April.

The prize includes a stay at the Kaslo Hotel for Canada Day long weekend and an in depth look at life in the town.
