Nelson Police issue warning about bear activity

The Nelson Police Department is warning residents about bears.

They’ve noted an increase in activity in various parts of the City as this time of year bears are out looking for food.

They would like to remind residents that garbage, compost, and waste products be disposed of in a secure manner.
