Selkirk College offering 40 Entrance Scholarships to high school students

Selkirk College is offering entrance scholarships to eligible high school students.

The $1500 scholarship is available to any West Kootenay or Boundary student with an average higher than 75%.

Communications coordinator Bob Hall says it can be used for any program at the college.

He adds they want students to focus on their studies rather than worry about money.

The scholarship will go directly towards tuition.
