Cottonwood Market kicks off this Saturday

The Cottonwood Community Market kicks off in Nelson on Saturday. Jesse Woodward with the West Kootenay Eco Society says fresh produce is couple weeks behind this year but there’s lots more to enjoy.

He says they’re not in the new location yet, but should be by mid-season.

It runs from 9:30am to 3:00pm at Cottonwood Falls Park.

This year, the downtown Wednesday market has been moved from Baker Street to the Hall Street Plaza and will start on June 13.

MarketFest happens July 27 and August 24 on Baker Street.
