Some changes on the way for Nelson Food Cupboard

The Nelson Food Cupboard made a couple of announcements this week.  They’re looking to renovate their programming and office space in the lower hall of the Nelson United Church. Community Relations Manager Andrew Creighton says it’ll really improve the space for staff, volunteers and program participants.

The project will require some fundraising.

Creighton adds they may have to look for a new garden location next year as the property is up for sale at Ward and Hoover.

Creighton says it may be a good opportunity to look for a location closer to their head office on Josephine.
