A man accused in a fatal assault in Nelson last week has made his first court appearance.
Miles Halverson will be back before a judge on Thursday in Castlegar.
He’s charged with a single count of aggravated assault but crown counsel is reviewing that.
Matt Reeder, 45, died in hospital after he was allegedly attacked in the 600 block of Baker Street.
