RCMP highlight road safety during Shambhala

With over 15,000 people in the area for the Shambhala Music Festival, RCMP say they’ll have more enforcement on the roads.

West Kootenay Traffic Services is reminding festival goers not to get behind the wheel if they’re under the influence of drugs and alcohol and to ensure they are properly rested.

The RCMP is emphasizing zero tolerance for impaired and unsafe driving, as well as minimizing traffic congestion.
