4-storey development proposed in Nelson

A proposal to build a four-storey mixed-use development at the corner of Hall and Front streets in Nelson goes before city council Monday tonight.

It’s planned for the parking lot next to the aquatic centre. But first the property needs to be rezoned from institutional to commercial.

Monday is first reading and a public meeting would be required before approval.

Culos Development indicates it would have shops on the ground floor, plus 38 housing units, including six two-storey townhomes, 22 two-bedroom units, and 10 one-bedroom units.
