Campfire ban lifted Friday at noon

Campfires will be permitted again throughout the Southeast Fire Centre on Friday, September 14 at noon. This is due to the decreased risk of wildfire.

Category 2 burns remain prohibited throughout the Southeast Fire Centre, except in the Columbia Zone. That includes stubble or grass burning of any size, the use of sky lanterns, fireworks and burn barrels.s or burning cages of any size or description.

Larger Category 3 burns remain prohibited throughout the entire Southeast Fire Centre.
