A group restoring the historic Ymir cemetery has won annual taxpayer funding.
A counterpetition process succeeded, meaning $3,000 per year will go now towards the project.
Regional director Hans Cunningham says nobody signed against the idea.
Cunningham says volunteer efforts have already been underway.
The money will help with things like ground-penetrating radar to detect gravesites.
The cemetery dates to the 1890s and has about 90 burials.
