Nelson Leafs hire new coach…again.

It didn’t take long for the Nelson Leafs to find a new bench boss.

The team announced David McLellan as Head Coach following last week’s resignation of Matt Hughes who was only on the job since May.

Leafs’ Marketing and Public Relations Director Michelle MacLean says the board of director’s liked McLellan’s philosphy and experience.


McLellan is expected to arrive in the Queen City over the new two weeks ahead of the team’s August 29th training camp.
