Invitation to Bid released for Arrow Lakes Hospital project

Interior Health (IH) is hopeful that construction will start this spring on a much anticipated project at the Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp. An Invitation to Bid has been released for a general contractor to oversee construction for the redevelopment of the emergency department (ED).

Detailed design of the upgrades was done by Nelson-based Cover Architecture Collaborative. Highlights of the project will include a dedicated triage  area; two new trauma bays; renovated patient exam bays; new utility rooms; and an enclosed multi-purpose meeting room.
