An economic milestone in the Waneta Dam Expansion Project.
The three partners have announced $200 million has now been spent on local goods and services.
Also wages amount to $40 million so far.
The $900 million project is a joint venture between Fortis Inc, Columbia Power Corporation and Columbia Basin Trust.
It is due for completion next year.
