Smokies hit reset button after stellar start

If the head coach of the Trail Smoke Eaters had to describe the start to their season in one word it would be…”positive”.

The Orange and Black won both contests at the BCHL showcase this past weekend.

Nick Deschenes says it was a two-game snap shot and there’s still work to be done.

Deschenes says they’ll get another bit test Friday when the Smokies welcome the Penticton Vees for their home opener at Cominco Arena.

That will be followed up by another division rival as Salmon Arm visits Saturday.
